as we celebrate the Fall running season with a super festive event jam packed with family fun & activities!

Start your morning with a run or walk at a distance that suits YOU at the Scarecrow Shuffle!
Choose from one of the following distances: 

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️Chip timed 8k or 5k!
or
💃🕺Non-competitive/Un-timed 2 mile FUN Walk/Run!
or
🤸‍♂️1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run!

Come dressed up as a Scarecrow to celebrate
Scarecrows in the Village
(one of Peddler's Village's most popular Fall attractions!)

Or, come dressed-up and celebrate
OctoberFeast featuring German-themed food, beverages, live entertainment & activities.
Note: If you come dressed up as either a scarecrow or an Octoberfeaster, you will automatically be entered into the
Scarecrow Shuffle costume contest!
*Dressing-up is not required...just a fun suggestion.

So gather the family and get ready to run or walk your distance.
Then enjoy live entertainment and delicious German-themed food and TONS of activities for the whole family!

Then, stroll amongst larger-than-life scarecrows which are part of Peddler's Village's Annual Scarecrows in the Village competition!
Come judge for yourself which Scarecrow you think deserves recognition!

Which ever distance you register for, be prepared for an event filled with a heck of a lot of wholesome Fall fun!

~~Scoogie Events MULTI-FAMILY & FRIENDS Program": Save $10 when you register 3 people or more at this event:-) 

"Multi person/family discount means that you get $10 off the total registration fees when signing up more than 3 runners for any of the runs besides the kid's run or walk". The "Multi person/family discount" will be automatically taken off once three runners are registered when registering them all at the same time!

Why are we holding this event?
Because we want to bring folks together in a meaningful way, get friends and families OUTSIDE to enjoy our beautiful area that we live in, spread good & positive vibes, create BIG smiles and great memories and most importantly, to help raise awareness and funds for the Solebury Township Parks & Recreation.. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Solebury Township Parks & Recreation.

That's just a start....Just wait till you see what else we have in store for everyone!

* AWESOME Carlton Pools donated bounce house will be open for kids (or adults that feel so inclined)

AWARDS:  Awards given for 8K & 5k only, Kids Run & FUN RUN are for FUN! Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category: NEW: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, (new age group: 80-89). No mailing of awards or shirts.

Again, no mailing of awards or shirts. If you have to leave the race early for ANY reason, you must notify us to save your award.  If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and it will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards. 

Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a top size BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved giveaway (top) for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts. 


IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WEATHER:
This event is a rain/shine event.
NOTE: We do not issue any refunds, transfers or credits for any reason. We have the right to revise or cancel the race due to emergency or weather issue....(but we really hope this doesn't happen:-)

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING COVID:

Should the pandemic get worse in the coming months before this event, we will not issue refunds but rather make the event a virtual event.
You will still receive all the normal Scoogie swag.
All Swag will be able to be picked up at the first few events that we are able to have.


**Packet Pick up will be announced in early October. A racer email will be sent out the Monday before the race detailing everything that you will need to know about packet pick up and race day details.
